Fished the Neuse between Broad Creek and Hancock Sunday. Really slow, but did manage to wind up with 4 nice keeper Trout. Stripers everywhere. Red Drum being caught on the banks of the Neuse and up the creeks. Can only keep one/day in the slot. Flounder still seem to be in short supply, but we have caught some nice legal ones recently. Speckled Trout are biting. Beginning to show up in the creeks. Some 25" to 29" have been reported.
